State-of-the-art Check Rite valves answer industry's demand for a lighter, more compact and durable wafer check valve.
Their compact design minimizes the distance between faces and they are easy to install between ANSI or other standard flanges.
Check Rite Swing Check Valves use only one set of flange bolts, which span the valve.
The installed valve is more rigid than the length of pipe it replaces, therefore there is no need for expensive supports.
The spring actuated disc assembly operates in either a horizontal or a vertical position, simplifying pipe layout.
The closing action is designed to minimize the destructive effect of a sudden reversal of flow or line hammer, which is more evident in conventional check valves.
These valves are available in sizes 1 1/2" to 42" in ANSI Classes 125 to 2500. Standard materials of construction include Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Steel and Stainless Steel. Discs and seat rings are stainless steel. O-Ring seats are available when required. Other materials are available upon request.
For fire protection services Check Rite offers 2" to 12" valves which are approved by Factory Mutual Systems and Underwriters Laboratories of Canada.
